How to use Trulicity?

Trulicity comes in a Single-Dose Pen. Each pen contains 1 dose of Trulicity (0.75 mg/0.5 mL) and should only be used 1 time.Trulicity is taken once a week. On your Trulicity day, you can take your dose at any time of the day, with or without food.

What is Trulicity’s dosage?

The recommended starting dosage for Adults is 0.75 mg injected subcutaneously once weekly. The dosage can be increased to 1.5 mg once weekly for additional glycemic control. If additional glycemic control is needed, the dose can be increased to 1.5 mg after at least 4 weeks on the current dosage.

The maximum recommended dosage is 4.5 mg injected subcutaneously once weekly.

The recommended Pediatric starting dosage is 0.75 mg injected subcutaneously once weekly. If additional glycemic control is needed, the dosage can be increased to the maximum recommended dosage of 1.5 mg once weekly after at least 4 weeks on the 0.75 mg dosage.
